However, when mapping species distribution, it is also important where the species did not occur: there is at least as much information in absences as in presences. Inferring absences from presence-only databases is difficult and always involves some guesswork. In this product we have used as much meta-information as possible to guide us in inferring absences.\n\ncdm_data_type = Grid\nVARIABLES (all of which use the dimensions [aphiaid][latitude][longitude]):\nprobability_occurrence (Probability of occurrence of biological entity)\n /erddap/metadata/fgdc/xml/biology_benthos_6617_5e82_1108_e2c8_fgdc.xml /erddap/metadata/iso19115/xml/biology_benthos_6617_5e82_1108_e2c8_iso19115.xml /erddap/info/biology_benthos_6617_5e82_1108_e2c8/index.htmlTable https://www.emodnet-biology.eu/data-catalog?module=dataset&dasid=6617 (external link) https://erddap.emodnet.eu/erddap/rss/biology_benthos_6617_5e82_1108_e2c8.rss /erddap/subscriptions/add.html?datasetID=biology_benthos_6617_5e82_1108_e2c8&showErrors=false&email= Deltares biology_benthos_6617_5e82_1108_e2c8
